Download Favourite Discord GIFs
Downloads every GIF in a Discord favourites export in parallel, converts video sources to proper GIFs, and names files after what they contain.

Discord lets you export your favourite GIFs as JSON but not download them. This script does the rest.
- Parallel downloads with retries for rate limits and timeouts, and a separate report of links that are genuinely dead.
- MP4 and WebM sources converted to GIF with a two-pass palette for good colour.
- Format detection by magic bytes, so files end up with the extension of what they really are.
- Re-runs skip anything already downloaded.
